What is a Voice of God announcer?
A Voice of God (VOG) announcer is a voiceover artist who is heard but not seen at a live event, often working alongside an onstage presenter – for award nominations, graduation name-reading, health & safety instructions, or general announcements.
There are not many female Voices of God working regularly in the UK, but Laura is one of the busiest.

How is VOG different from standard voiceover work?
VOG work happens live and under pressure. It requires the ability to sight-read complicated scripts, ad lib when needed, and incorporate last-minute changes on the spot – skills built from years of radio presenting, compering and stand-up comedy.
Who has Laura worked with as a Voice of God?
As one of the few female VOGs working regularly in the UK, Laura has been the voiceover “sidekick” of presenters such as Stephen Fry, Rob Brydon and Jimmy Carr. She has voiced at numerous high profile live events for the likes of BBC, emap, Haymarket, Cancer Research, Channel 4 and CIPS among others.
